Sang Jin Park is a chief expert advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice area is environment.
Mr. Park has a Ph.D. in environmental engineering, and he has obtained plenty of hands-on experience in various environment-related areas including water quality, soil, and recycling of resources, etc. while working at the National Railroad Administration, the Ministry of Environment, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Office for Government Policy Coordination, etc. In particular, he has played a central role in adopting advanced systems related to water environment, including the algae alarm system, ecotoxicity, water quality TMS, agency for management of public sewer, technical diagnosis, and standards for membrane filtration installation, etc. Based on the network he has built in the process, he is one of the top water experts who has in-depth understanding in statutes, systems, industries and technologies, etc.

He contributed to enactment of the Soil Environment Conservation Act which laid a framework for management of soil environment. While serving as the head of planning and management of the Korea Packaging Recycling Cooperative, which is an institution specialized in the extended producer reponsibility (EPR) system, Park obtained expertise in the major EPR systems, which now helps him to provide his clients with the best solutions tailored to the clients’ circumstances based on the accurate analysis of environmental issues.

He is currently active as a technical advisor of 33 institutions including the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Korea Environment Corporation, the Korea Land & Housing Corporation, the Gyeonggi Housing & Urban Development Corporation, the Korea Railroad Corporation, and the Korea Water and Wastewater Works Association, etc.
