Yoon & Yang will co-host webinar with International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK) on risk management of construction projects in the Middle East. Yoon & Yang’s Senior Foreign Attorney Yonsoo Kim will present “Impact of Middle Eastern Construction Market’s Oil Price Hike” and Partner Young Woo Park will speak on the topic of ”Feasibility of Seeking Payment for Increased Construction Costs due to Inflation and Oil Price Hike.”
In addition, David Merritt, a Head of Middle East & Asia of CCi will present “Rethinking risk allocation in construction contracts,” and CCi’s Managing Director, Julian Haslam-Jones will also participate on the topic of “How to demonstrate and evidence costs related to inflation.” Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s counsel Amani Khalifa will introduce “Global Instability: supply chain and currency fluctuation risks.” Lastly, Ghaffari Partners' Managing Partner Amir Ghaffari will present “Inflationary price increases: available legal principles to recover additional costs to the project.”
