Biography
Seung-Kook Synn is a senior foreign attorney and head of the ESG Center at Yoon & Yang LLC. His main practice area is providing strategic advisory service on corporate legal affairs and sustainable management, including issues on ESG, risk management, cross-border transaction, intellectual property right, M&A, and antitrust & competition.
Prior to joining Yoon & Yang, Mr. Synn served in various positions at SK Group’s major affiliates (SK Telecom, SK Energy, and SK Hynix) as the General Counsel, Vice President of the CR Strategy Division, Vice President of the International Cooperation Division, and Vice President of the Sustainable Management Division, during which he oversaw matters on corporate compliance management and sustainable management. During 30-plus years as a strategic practitioner for the SK Group, he accomplished the task of creating a compliance management environment through introducing the group-wide compliance program, as well as developing the basic policy direction for ESG (i.e., SK Hynix RE100).
