Biography
Jinsu Jeong is a managing partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his primary practice areas include corporate-related civil and criminal litigation, commercial disputes, corporate governance, and government relations advisory.
Mr. Jeong began his career as a judge at the Seoul Civil District Court and subsequently served in various courts including the Seoul District Court and the Seoul Western District Court. During his tenure as a Judicial Researcher at the Supreme Court of Korea, he was part of the Commercial Law Research Division, where he specialized in corporate-related disputes, including securities, insurance, and management control cases. In addition to his judicial service, he has served as a professor at the Judicial Research & Training Institute and as an adjunct professor at Korea University School of Law and Sungkyunkwan University Law School, as well as a lecturer at Seoul National University School of Law. He has extensive experience handling high-profile cases, including financial derivative disputes such as the KIKO and ELS cases, securities law violation cases, corporate embezzlement and breach of fiduciary duty matters, and major management control disputes involving leading conglomerates.
