Keun Woo Lee is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice areas include intellectual property and broadcasting, information, and communications.
Mr. Lee has advised and represented clients in numerous patent, trademarks, design, trade secrets, unfair competition related matters. For example, Mr. Lee was involved in the drafting of amendments to the Communications Secrets Security Act, SK Hynix’s trade secret infringement claim against Toshiba and SanDisk, Kumho Petrochemical’s trademark dispute, a patent dispute concerning lithium-ion secondary battery separator, a patent dispute concerning an automatic waste collection facility, patent invalidation of Plavix medicine, a patent dispute concerning an automatic reservation system for express buses, copyright infringement case between terrestrial broadcasters and cable broadcasting companies, copyright infringement case between 47 major film companies and web storage service providers, and copyright infringement claim by Internet portal operators. Mr. Lee has also advised service providers and IT companies on technology related issues. In addition, Mr. Lee handles a variety of matters related to new technology including trade secrets, AI and the Fourth industrial revolution, self-driving cars, drones, 5G, big data, cyber security, GDPR, and blockchain.
